With a young growing family, our clients were in need of improved, future-proofed living arrangements — one which could also make the most of the site's north-facing amenity.

In line with the area's emerging character, a minimalistic form was developed. Slim datum lines and delicate screening add refined detail, whilst practical elements such as recessed windows for sun shading are integrated as part of the facade. Working with a shallow site, some creative solutions were implemented to ensure the building would not be overbearing from the backyard. The result is a series of subtly offset volumes, optimally orientated for family entertaining and relaxing backyard summers.
